Building a relationship with their in-house coordinators has been incredibly easy because they genuinely care about their couples and aim to give them the best experience possible- As do we. Riverdale Manor is one of the few venues that has almost everything you need; beautiful venue, gorgeous property, spacious suites for getting ready, top notch onsite catering team, and in-house coordinators that are fantastic. We offer full day coverage for all of our Riverdale Manor weddings so that you don't need to worry about a single moment being missed. On top of that, we offer the option to add a second photographer, videography, content creator, albums, parent books, wall art, engagement sessions and welcome party coverage.

Why Do I Love This Spot?
My top three favorite photo locations at Riverdale Manor
The Mill Foundation
At the bottom edge of the property, right along the river, is the Mill Foundation. It's perfect year round for amazing pictures of you, your wedding party or even family. I especially love this spot for first looks though as it's private and provides a ton of beautiful backgrounds. At just the right time of day, the sunlight spills through the trees too making it magical!
The Driveway
Nighttime portraits of couples is one of the things we've become known for. The long driveway leading up to the farmhouse is perfect for this and creates beautiful framing that cannot be found at just any venue. Can you picture yourself in a shot like this?
The Ballroom
Thing it's odd that I picked the ballroom as one of my favorite spots? Think again. The ballroom is where you and your guests will be celebrating your wedding and its spacious, beautiful and is set up to show your personality with ease. I know that every time my wife or I feel stressed out, it’s a great idea to just stop, relax and take stock. This is never more true than when planning a wedding. My advice (having worked in the industry for many years and planned my own wedding) is to take some time to get your wedding priorities straight. What is important to you may not be as important to someone else. Figure out what you care most about and then go from there. For most of our couples, that means finding the perfect venue then finding the right photographer to capture it all.

Do you travel?
We love to travel and experience new places. If your wedding is within 100 miles (round trip) of our studio, there are no extra fees. If it is further away, we'd be happy to give you a custom quote to cover nominal travel expenses. There are no travel fees for Riverdale Manor Weddings
Are the images we see edited?
All of the final images we post (usually between 850-1250) are color-corrected, cropped, and ready for printing. If you like the work you see on our website, you'll love your own images! Editing styles/filters come and go over time, but one of the consistent things we hear from our couples is that they love our timeless style while remaining vibrant, bold and authentic!

How long have you been shooting weddings?
We have been shooting weddings since 2007 and have hundreds of them under our belt. We’ve worked at Riverdale Manor over a dozen times along with countless other venues in Lancaster and Philadelphia, in every season, weather, lighting, and size. We've seen it all!
Can I give you a list of shots that I want on my wedding day?
You can. However, we've found that it is best to just share images with us that are non-standard, or ones we wouldn't have known about had you not told us. Don't worry, we'll be sure to capture family pictures, your first kiss, and all of the "normal" stuff. Leading up to the wedding, we'll send you a questionnaire to fill out and then jump on a call with you to go over all of the important details.
Do you bring back-up equipment to every shoot?
We do. We have extra batteries, memory cards, lenses, and cameras. We're never going to be careless on someone's wedding day!
