Craig and Jennifer’s Riverdale Manor winter wedding was one I had my eyes on for quite some time. Two main reasons for this- 1, Jennifer, Craig, and I met up at Longwood Gardens a while back for their engagement session and they hit a grand slam. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and I knew their wedding day would be the same. 2, When you mix an amazing couple like this with a fantastic venue like Riverdale Manor, you are going to win every time. As an added bonus, Carrie Kizuka second shot for me which made the day all the better.

The day started out with me joining the ladies in the suite at Riverdale. Carrie also met up with their guys in the farmhouse for some prep. It didn’t take long before everyone was ready and we made our way outside for their first look. After they got to enjoy seeing each other for the first time, the wedding party joined us for a few formal shots. We transitioned into family pictures after that. This time of year, it’s always easier to knock these out before the ceremony because it is often dark afterwards.

Once we finished up outside, they headed back into the farmhouse to relax a bit before the guests arrived. A short time later, Jenni and her dad were making their way down the aisle. They had a beautiful ceremony and bada-bing-bada-boom they were now husband and wife.

The party got started from there with cocktail hour and then the reception that followed. Jenni and Craig had a live band for the first half of the reception and then Top Hat Entertainment took over for the second half. It was the best of both worlds.
