We take our time to capture the personalities and relationships that make your family special. We're not going to race through a few canned poses and be on our way. We'll take our time to get all of the combos we need while also getting plenty of candids and shots of you interacting naturally. This isn't a Sears photo session like from when you were a kid.

The cell phones in our pockets today have better technology than the cameras I used when I started my career, but where the magic is with family photography is not in the technology itself. It's in getting your images printed so that you can enjoy them on a regular basis, share with friends and family, and be able to remember this moment in time with clarity.

More than just a selfie
No point in letting your photos languish on the Cloud forever. These portraits were designed to be printed. We offer a number of ways to display your photographs: museum-quality heirloom albums, photo books which are ideal for grandparents, wall art and prints of all sizes.
During the gallery reveal session, I'll present you with a variety of options to consider, but long before the session, we'll have a planning meeting so that we go into the portrait session with a plan in place to ensure you're getting exactly what you're looking for!

How to fill your home with beautiful memories
If you're looking for a photographer who is simply going to snap a few shots for you, deliver a gallery and then send you on your merry way, we're probably not a great fit. Our families hire us because we guide them through the entire process with intention. We'll ask questions to make sure that the final products we deliver to you align perfectly with what you're looking to do. This involves a planning meeting, gallery reveal session and guidance throughout the entire process.

How long have you been shooting families?
We have been shooting weddings since 2007 and have worked with not only our past wedding clients, but also those whose first interaction with us was for family portraits
Can I give you a list of shots that I want for our portrait session?
You can. During our pre-session meeting, we'll go over a lot of things that pertain to the session and the final deliverables. We want to make sure every combo is shot in an authentic way that highlights the relationships you've built.
Do you bring back-up equipment to every shoot?
We do. We have extra batteries, memory cards, lenses, and cameras.
Do you travel?
We love to travel and experience new places. If your family portrait session is within 30 miles (round trip) of our studio, there are no extra fees. If it is further away, we'd be happy to give you a custom quote to cover nominal travel expenses.
Are the images we see edited?
All images you see in the reveal session are color corrected and adjusted, however, we do not perform final edits until you've made your purchase selections. These with go through a much more extensive edit and retouching process.
