Why I love The North Shore House: I have been shooting weddings for 18 years now and have been to 100+ wedding venues in that time. Many of them are great for one reason or another, but when I have the opportunity to work at a new venue that truly wows me, I absolutely want to shout it from the rooftop. This was my experience working at the North Shore House earlier this year. It's location, lakeside, is absolutely stunning. The staff are warm, caring, and professional, the food is *chef's kiss, and wherever I pointed my camera, there was something breathtaking in the background.

It's a showstopper for sure. It's rare that one of my favorite locations at a venue is the ceremony spot, but for most couples this is where their guests will begin their day and if you get married at the North Shore House, your guests will have an amazing first impression!
The Dock
Being lakeside has so many advantages and at The North Shore House, you'll be blessed with a dock for pictures like this. We love taking our couples out at sunset/blue hour and create work like this that our couples can't help but mount on their walls. Can you see yourself in a picture like this?

How to be the most laid-back bride (or groom) on the planet
I know that every time my wife or I feel stressed out, it’s a great idea to just stop, relax and take stock. This is never more true than when planning a wedding. My advice (having worked in the industry for many years and planned my own wedding) is to take some time to get your wedding priorities straight. What is important to you may not be as important to someone else. Figure out what you care most about and then go from there. For most of our couples, that means finding the perfect venue then finding the right photographer to capture it all.
Do you travel?
We love to travel and experience new places. If your wedding is within 100 miles (round trip) of our studio, there are no extra fees. If it is further away, we'd be happy to give you a custom quote to cover nominal travel expenses.
Are the images we see edited?
All of the final images we post (usually between 850-1250) are color-corrected, cropped, and ready for printing. If you like the work you see on our website, you'll love your own images! Editing styles/filters come and go over time, but one of the consistent things we hear from our couples is that they love our timeless style while remaining vibrant, bold and authentic!

How long have you been shooting weddings?
We have been shooting weddings since 2007 and have hundreds of them under our belt. We’ve worked at countless venues all over the country and have served couples just like you who want an amazing experience and beautiful images.
Can I give you a list of shots that I want on my wedding day?
You can. However, we've found that it is best to just share images with us that are non-standard, or ones we wouldn't have known about had you not told us. Don't worry, we'll be sure to capture family pictures, your first kiss, and all of the "normal" stuff. Leading up to the wedding, we'll send you a questionnaire to fill out and then jump on a call with you to go over all of the important details.
Do you bring back-up equipment to every shoot?
We do. We have extra batteries, memory cards, lenses, and cameras. We're never going to be careless on someone's wedding day!
