David and Emily’s wedding at the end of December at The Hamilton Club was a perfect example of how to have a Christmas wedding tastefully without being cheesy in any way. On the morning of the big day, I met all of the ladies over at The Farm at Eagles Ridge for some prep action. It was so nice to have a wonderful location like that for everyone to get ready and have some room to spread out a bit. David and the guys showed up a little while later to get ready and Kate got some coverage of them hanging out and doing their thing. After a little while, everyone made their way over to the church. By the time we got there, many of the guests had already arrived and moments later, the ceremony began. David and Emily planned a beautiful and thoughtful ceremony which will help them remember their day in a special way. After they greeted their guests for a period of time, we knocked out some family pictures in the church and then made our way outside for a few more of the wedding party. After we wrapped that up, we made our way to downtown Lancaster to get a few more shots. David and Emily planned their day perfectly to coincide with when we would be running out of daylight, so when we wrapped up in town, it was absolutely magical. David is a hobbyist photographer himself, so he and I were in lockstep when it came to when the best time to shoot their bride and groom portraits would be. We then made our way over to The Hamilton Club a few blocks away for the reception. Lance Kopp from Mixed-Up Productions took care of the entertainment and had everyone celebrating the new couple all night long. This wedding was such a joy to be a part of and we couldn’t be happier for David and Emily. For now, enjoy a handful of our favorite images from the day.
