Karen and Richard’s Fall wedding at The Inn at Leola Village was round one of a doubleheader a few weeks ago. Day two was at the same spot. Did we die and go to wedding heaven- I say yes. Shooting at The Inn at Leola Village in the Fall is fantastic on it’s own, but when you mix in Richard, Karen, their friends and family, it’s all the better- And I am not just saying that. I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session last year and they radiate genuine kindness. It has been an honor working with them this past year. Their day started like many others- Karen and her ladies enjoyed a relaxing morning in the salon for prep, while the guys had a pregame meal at Shady Maple. Guys 1, girls 0- just saying. Not too long after that, everyone was dressed and ready to get the official moments started. Richard and Karen had their first look and then we transitioned into doing wedding party and family pictures before the ceremony. They wanted to be able to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests and this was the easiest way to make that happen. A bit later, the ceremony began and they officially became husband and wife. The Inn put on an amazing spread for cocktail hour and everyone began celebrating the new couple. We took them outside for a shot or two during twilight and then they joined their guests who were excited to see them. The reception kicked off a bit later and the newlyweds were introduced and shared their first dance together. The night was filled with great food, dancing, toasts and an all-around great time. Karen and Richard, thank you for trusting us to capture your day. You both were fantastic to work with and we wish you the best! Enjoy this handful of our favorite images!
