Logan and AnnaMarie are good people- We wouldn’t have driven halfway across the state if they weren’t. Their Liberty Mountain Resort wedding was fitting for such a great couple and we’re so honored that they had us be a part of it. The day started with Kate hanging out with the guys and Nolan and I heading over to AnnaMarie’s suite and spending some time with them. They were getting ready at the lodge on the backside of the mountain where the ceremony and reception would be. Once they were both ready, Logan and the guys made their way over to where we were and then we got him set up for the first look. The area all around the lodge was wide open and shade was hard to come by, so we walked them down the mountain a bit and found a long stretch of road under the trees with beautiful light. Great lighting trumps background every day, but when you pair the two, it’s even better! Logan was all set up and ready to see his beautiful bride. *Also, mad props to Logan for rocking the maroon suit- In 325ish weddings, this was a first and looked awesome.* AnnaMarie got into place and then we the magic began as she made her way down to see Logan for the first time on their wedding day. They shared a few minutes together and then the wedding party made their way down to meet us for some formal shots. We were able to knock all of these out and then get back to focusing on the almost newlyweds for a little while longer. This whole process was super laid back because of the excellent planning these two did to ensure they had a nice buffer of time and wouldn’t feel rushed. After we wrapped up with the pre-wedding shots, Logan and the guys enjoyed some corn hole on the back deck while AnnaMarie and her ladies retreated to the bridal suite to relax and freshen up. A short time later, the guests arrived and the ceremony began. I absolutely love the long aisle outside leading to the ceremony location. It gives us time to get shots from different angles and perspectives. They had a beautiful ceremony and only a short time later, were officially husband and wife. Everyone made their way to cocktail hour while the family stayed back for a few pictures as the sun was setting. We grabbed a few more of Logan and Anna before heading inside for the reception. The real party started a bit later and didn’t stop for four straight hours. The dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time celebrating the new couple. This wedding day was so much fun to be a part of and we couldn’t be happier for these two.
