Mike and Natalie had the most amazing Crystal Tea Room wedding a couple of weeks ago. I’ll jump right into the details of the day because I am so excited for you to get to the images below. The day started off with me dropping Kate off with Mike to get some prep shots and then I made my way over to Natalie’s parent’s house where the ladies were having their makeup done. Natalie had planned the morning to perfection and had a great buffer of time to relax and not stress- Which can actually induce a bit of angst on it’s own- go figure. It was pretty much smooth sailing the entire time I was there. Once everyone was completely ready, we jumped in our vehicles and made our way into the city. The ceremony was at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Philadelphia, which is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city in my opinion. Mike and Natalie’s ceremony was perfect and an hour later, they were officially husband and wife. After we knocked some pictures out at the church, we made our way over to the Art Museum for some pictures of the wedding party. Before cocktail hour started, we took a bit of time at city hall as well. I love that Natalie and Mike didn’t try to cram these locations into a tiny window of time, but rather scheduled everything so that we were never rushed. Shortly after we wrapped the bride and groom shots up, cocktail hour started. Finley Catering handles the fare for the Crystal Tea Room and I don’t think there is a better spread that you can find in the city than what they do. They are phenomenal and if you’re planning a wedding at one of their venues, you’ve hit the jackpot! After everyone had a chance to connect with the newlyweds, the official reception got underway. After their first dance, the party got started and didn’t stop until the end of the night. I don’t think Mike and Natalie could have done a better job in planning this day! Once it was completely dark outside, we took them out for a few more pictures on south Broad St. On the way back in, we stopped at the escalator and made the last shot in this batch of images. Mike and Natalie, it was an absolute pleasure being a part of your special day and we wish you all the best. Enjoy a handful of our favorite images!
