Ahh… The Inn at Leola Village. Home away from home. At least as far as weddings go. I feel like every month or two, I look at our lineup and see a wedding here. Makes my heart happy. You know what else makes my heart happy? Brian and Jamie’s wedding. It was perfect through and through. Sure, the skies were a bit dreary and the ground a bit soggy, but that didn’t stop these two from soaking up every once of wedding goodness from the day. Jamie and her ladies got ready at the on-site salon and then headed over to the bridal suite for some lunch and relaxation. The guys went straight to the billiards room for a little day drinking and hanging out before the official festivities. It was such a chill environment with both parties. As the wedding drew near, the almost newlyweds wanted to exchange gifts, but still not see each other. We made that happen and it was beautiful. So close to the person you’re about to marry, but it feels like miles because you can’t see each other or embrace. Suspense filled the air. They only had to wait another 30 minutes or so for the ceremony to start. Shortly thereafter, they were officially husband and wife. There was a break in the weather, so we took care of the family pictures and then went outside for a little while. The wine room was our final destination before heading back to the reception. The party got going and didn’t stop until the end of the night. We’ve witnessed weddings when you couldn’t pay people to dance, but that was definitely not the case here. The night flew by and before we knew it, it was over.
