This post every year is almost always my favorite; well, more like the process of making this post. You see, when you absolutely love what you do, you often don’t take the appropriate amount of time to look back on your work, accomplishments, and the people that you got to work with over the course of the year. You’re often too busy doing what you do- meeting with couples, helping to develop their timeline, shooting, editing, album design, marketing, and the list goes on.  For me, I know this to be the case, but doing this post at season’s end lets me recount all of the amazing people I had the honor of working with and relive their days; albeit in an abridged version. I also get to grab a handful of my favorite images from the year in the process which is a lot of fun. When I first started shooting weddings, I could remember all of my favorite pictures because there were like four or five. Now, we shoot a lot more weddings, and I have a lot more favorites to go through- which isn’t a bad thing. It’s like when climbing a mountain, you sometimes have to stop, turn around, and enjoy the view. We shot at a lot of new venues this year and built a lot of exciting new relationships, and we look forward to see how Nathan Desch Photography evolves moving forward. Be on the lookout for exciting things in 2018. We have some phenomenal weddings coming up and we can’t wait to share them with you. For now, here are some of our favorite wedding pictures from 2017.
