Fall is the absolute best. It’s football season, the air is crisp (well, it’s getting there), has the best holiday- Thanksgiving, and it’s full of weddings. Karl and Dana’s Inn at Leola Village wedding wasn’t technically in the Fall, but I’m blogging it now, so it falls under the awesomeness of Fall. True story. Kate and I joined Dana and the ladies at the on-site salon for some getting ready shots. I love when the entire day happens at one location because it means less time wasted for travel and more time for the good stuff. Once they wrapped up, they made their way to the bridal suite for the rest of prep. I joined Karl and the guys down in the billiards room for some groom prep too. This is such a great hangout spot for the guys. Shortly thereafter, the almost newlyweds had their first look on the garden path, which was followed by bridal party and family pictures. There was a threat of rain, so the ceremony was inside. Leola has one of the best indoor ceremony sites around! After the knot was tied, the newlyweds sped off in Dana’s dad’s Corvette. We followed them to a garden area for a few more pictures. It was really just an excuse for me to climb a tree though. A few minutes later, Dana and Karl joined their guests for cocktail hough before the reception . Once everyone was seated, the bridal party was introduced, the first dance was had, and parent dances followed. Shortly after dinner, the Bachelor Boys Band got everyone dancing. Partying ensued until the end of the night and it was clear that everyone had a blast celebrating with the new couple.
Karl and Dana, thanks for having us be a part of your big day. It was a joy working with you and we wish you the best!
