Every so often, we have a wedding at a venue we haven’t shot at before. Let’s be real here, there are hundreds of wedding venues in southeastern Pennsylvania, so there will always be ones we haven’t shot at before. There are some though, that we salivate over at the prospect of working at. Drumore Estate is one of those venues. They only host a few handfuls of weddings each year and they always fill up fast. Their grounds are beautiful and staff is excellent. If Christelle and I were planning our wedding all over again, Drumore Estate would be on our short list of venues. What also made this wedding awesome was that we got to work with Patrick and Heather again. I shot their engagement session at Longwood Gardens back in the Fall and couldn’t wait until their big day. They are laid back and were willing to do whatever we suggested for their pictures. We met up with the ladies at the salon in the morning and then it was off to Drumore for the rest of prep. They had a beautiful ceremony, fun cocktail hour, and rocking reception. DJ Edge made sure everyone had a good time all night long. If you follow our work, even just on occasion, you’ll know we love silhouettes, reflections, and colorful skies. When we get to shoot all three in one shot, we get a little excited.
