Venues with a hotel on-site always makes life easier on you and your guests. You naturally have a room to get ready in, but you also don't need to worry about shuttle services after the wedding for your guests. They can simply take the elevator to their room and then meet you for day after brunch.

No need to Worry about missing a moment
I know that every time my wife or I feel stressed out, it’s a great idea to just stop, relax and take stock. This is never more true than when planning a wedding. My advice (having worked in the industry for many years and planned my own wedding) is to take some time to get your wedding priorities straight. What is important to you may not be as important to someone else. Figure out what you care most about and then go from there. For most of our couples, that means finding the perfect venue then finding the right photographer to capture it all.

Nathan’s philosophy
The area between the Manor House and Carriage House in the corner of the property is beautiful year round. There are luxury gardens, interesting textures and ample color. This location is one of my favorites for portraits of the couple.
The Carriage House
Right outside the big windows adjacent to The Farmer's Daughter, there is a courtyard that is excellent for wedding party and family portraits, as well and couples portraits. The image above was capture late in February, but there's color and texture that is hard to find this time of year.

The pool area is amazing for shots during the day as it's surrounded by beautiful gardens, but at night, it's the perfect spot for some night shots of you and your crew as well as just the two of you. Can you picture a shot like this in your wedding album or on the wall in your home?

How long have you been shooting weddings?
I have been shooting weddings since 2007 and have over 750 of them under my belt. I've worked at Normandy Farm many times along with countless other venues across the region; in every season, weather, lighting, and size. I've seen it all!
Can I give you a list of shots that I want on my wedding day?
You can. However, we've found that it is best to just share images with us that are non-standard, or ones we wouldn't have known about had you not told us. Don't worry, we'll be sure to capture family pictures, your first kiss, and all of the "normal" stuff. Leading up to the wedding, we'll send you a questionnaire to fill out and then jump on a call with you to go over all of the important details.
Do you bring back-up equipment to every shoot?
I do. I have extra batteries, memory cards, lenses, and cameras. I'm never going to be careless on someone's wedding day!
Do you travel?
We love to travel and experience new places. If your wedding is within 100 miles (round trip) of our studio, there are no extra fee. If it is further away, we'd be happy to give you a custom quote to cover nominal travel expenses. There are no travel fees for Normandy Farm Weddings
Are the images we see edited?
All of the final images we post (usually between 850-1250) are color-corrected, cropped, and ready for printing. If you like the work you see on our website, you'll love your own images! Editing styles/filters come and go over time, but one of the consistent things we hear from our couples is that they love our timeless style while remaining vibrant, bold and authentic!
