I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Pennsylvania is the Promised Land. We have four seasons, great food, and hospitable people. However, if you need further proof, Dan and Suzan left Hawaii to have their wedding at the Curtis Center in Philadelphia. I met up with Dan and Suzan a few months before their wedding when we did their engagement session at Water Works. They are extremely easy going, fun loving, and kind. The chemistry between them was palpable, and I loved how their engagement session went, which included playful poses and candid laughter against the backdrop of the stunning Philadelphia skyline. I knew that their wedding would be equally awesome, and it didn’t disappoint. Dan and Suzan had an Asian tea ceremony in the morning at Suzan’s sister’s house in Wayne, a heartfelt tradition that honored their heritage and brought families together. After that, they headed over to the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia to get ready for the American ceremony, a perfect location for brides and grooms venturing into the heart of the city. This is a great spot for prep if you’re having a downtown Philadelphia wedding, providing stunning views and a luxurious setting to relax before the big event. Once the finishing touches were done, we walked around Old City a bit for some bridal party shots, capturing moments filled with excitement and anticipation. It was on to the Atrium at the Curtis Center after that. This place was built to impress. It is full of natural light, sky high ceilings (literally) and has tons of class, making it a favorite spot for couples seeking an elegant venue. Their staff is also top notch, ensuring that every detail is handled seamlessly. Definitely check it out if you’re interested in having a Philadelphia wedding. Dan and Suzan had a beautiful ceremony, filled with personal vows and touching moments, and quite a party for their reception, which included live music, dancing, and lots of laughter. Every piece of the day reflected their personalities and the love they share.
The Curtis Center offers a unique blend of modern architecture and historic charm, making it ideal for various wedding styles. Couples often rave about how the natural lighting enhances their wedding photos, giving them a bright and airy feel. Moreover, the Atrium’s versatility allows for creative decor options, from floral arrangements to elegant table settings. During the reception, guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere where they can mingle and celebrate in style. Philadelphia is rich with history, and having a wedding in such a prominent location adds an extra layer of significance to the event.
Dan and Suzan, thanks for having us be a part of your big day. It was our pleasure working with you both. Congratulations again!![]()
