Rick & Jazmine’s Joyful Spring Wedding at Drumore Estate
Rick and Jazmine’s wedding day at Drumore Estate, just south of Lancaster, PA, was the epitome of a joyful spring wedding filled with laughter, emotion, and memorable moments. Ever since meeting Rick and Jazmine at a private open house event for engaged couples hosted by Drumore Estate, and later capturing their engagement photos at the Reading Museum last summer, I had eagerly anticipated this day. There was just something unique about these two, their personalities and their down to earth selves!
A Joyful Start to the Day
I began the day photographing Jazmine and her bridesmaids in the elegant bridal suite, while Ben, my second photographer, spent time with Rick and the groomsmen. Excitement filled the air as everyone prepared for the day ahead. Prep is often a fairly slow part of the day, but it’s a great opportunity for everyone to shake off the nerves and get into party mode.
Emotion-Filled First Look and Private Vows
Rick and Jazmine shared an incredibly touching first look under Drumore Estate’s beautiful tree grove, highlighting the deep affection and joy they share. After exchanging private vows, Jazmine playfully surprised Rick with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice, which he enthusiastically accepted, creating one of many moments filled with genuine laughter. Add this to the list of things that made this day unique.
Memorable Portraits and Family Moments
Following their joyful first look, we captured stunning portraits of the wedding party, followed by family photos set against Drumore Estate’s lush spring backdrop. The romantic couple portraits showcased their love perfectly. Every time I shoot a wedding here, there are some go-to places I always hit up because I know they hit a home run every time, but there are also new nooks and crannies than I find and fall in love with
A Ceremony Filled with Love and Disney Magic
The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, perfectly complementing their day so far. After exchanging vows, Jazmine delighted Rick by revealing a tiny Mickey Mouse emblem sewn into her dress—a nod to their mutual love for Disney and their upcoming honeymoon. It didn’t take long for him to find it, which was a fun little scavenger hunt for him.
Celebration, Sunset Portraits, and Sparkler Sendoff
The cocktail hour transitioned seamlessly into a lively reception where guests celebrated enthusiastically throughout the night. We stole Rick and Jazmine away briefly for some gorgeous sunset portraits, taking advantage of Drumore Estate’s breathtaking grounds. Drumore’s property is the second highest location in Lancaster County and has a stunning view of the sunset year round. Couples often want sunset pictures on their wedding day and here, it is effortless!
As the evening concluded, the newlyweds departed through a sparkling sendoff, climbing into their limo to cheers and applause from their loved ones. It was truly a picture-perfect ending to a wedding at Drumore Estate.
Exceptional Hospitality at Drumore Estate
As always, the Drumore Estate team was exceptional, ensuring every detail was perfect and guests felt warmly welcomed.
