Colin and Leah’s elegant spring wedding at the Inn at Leola Village was nothing short of magical. From their heartfelt ceremony to a lively celebration that kept the dance floor full, their day was the perfect blend of joy, love, and unforgettable surprises.
A Relaxing Start at The Inn at Leola Village
The day began calmly, with Leah and her bridesmaids getting pampered at the inn’s luxurious on-site salon before finishing preparations in the beautiful bridal suite. Colin and the groomsmen enjoyed some downtime in the billiards room, setting a relaxed and joyful tone for the day. On of my favorite parts of the guys prep was when Leah’s dad took some time to read a letter Leah wrote him.
Sweet Moments & Meaningful Ceremonies
Colin and Leah chose to skip the first look, preserving that special moment for Leah’s walk down the aisle. However, Leah shared a touching first look with her dad at the church, a sweet and emotional memory they’ll cherish forever. Their ceremony was beautiful and intimate, held in a lovely local church surrounded by their closest friends and family. Couples often ask me if they should or shouldn’t have a first look. Logistically, it can be helpful and I’m always happy to share why, but by no means am I going to force my hand on a couple who wants to do it the traditional way. It’s their day- They should be able to enjoy it how they want!
After the ceremony, we captured family portraits right at the church, followed by more romantic and fun portraits back on the stunning grounds of the Inn at Leola Village. One particularly joyful surprise was orchestrated by Leah’s mom, who arranged for their beloved dog to make an unexpected appearance, much to everyone’s delight!
An Unforgettable Reception at the Inn at Leola Village
The reception at the Inn at Leola Village was truly spectacular. DJ Pat Ryan and his talented team provided incredible entertainment featuring a DJ, saxophone, and percussion—resulting in one of the liveliest dance floors we’ve seen. Friends and family celebrated with nonstop dancing and joy all evening long.
The Inn at Leola Village is renowned for its stunning grounds, outstanding cuisine, and incredibly welcoming staff, making it an ideal choice for a wedding venue. Colin and Leah’s wedding showcased all of these strengths beautifully. I didn’t even mention the in-house baker, florist, hotel, and coordinators… Now I did.
Celebrating Two Wonderful Families
Colin and Leah are two of the kindest and most genuine people, surrounded by equally wonderful families. Documenting their special day was truly a joy, and we hope for another opportunity to celebrate with this amazing group in the future!
