Engagement sessions are one of my favorite things to shoot. It’s normally the first time I am meeting a couple in person and they’re typically a great time to get to know each other on a deeper level. Meeting up with Sarah and Nathan was exactly this scenario. They booked me for their upcoming wedding in 2025, so we decided to meet up at Lock Ridge Park in Alburtis, PA. Fun fact, Lock Ridge Park was actually the location of the first wedding I shot over 17 years ago. I still remember it fondly as it was the wedding that started me on this path to being a full-time wedding photographer. What a monumental moment in my life!
Well fast forward 17+ years and the session I did with Nathan and Sarah was at a much higher technical level than that first wedding, but the goal was quite similar- Capture the love and commitment of two people in an authentic way. I think we were able to do just that.
During the session, we wandered around the property, got to know each other better, talk about their upcoming wedding, and just get really comfortable with one another. Sessions like this are so much more than just getting great pictures and then going on with my day, and for that, I love them.
For not, check out a few of my favorites from this session and then keep your eye out for Nathan and Sarah’s wedding later in 2025!
