Chris and Ashley’s Rivercrest Golf Club wedding was one for the ages a few weeks ago. Summer weddings are always vibrant and fun to be a part of, but Ashley and Chris didn’t miss a detail when planning theirs. Kate and I started with Ashley and her ladies at the hotel in the morning. Instead of a regular room, they opted for a larger conference suite, which was an excellent idea to give themselves more space. Chris got ready up in his room, so I joined him for the finishing touches of his prep. These two were both calm, cool, and ready for anything! Not too long after everyone was ready, we headed over to the church for the ceremony. Shortly thereafter, Ashley came down the aisle escorted by her parents. They had a beautiful service followed by a bubble exit from the church. We then made our way over to Rivercrest for some formal pictures before cocktail hour got underway. Ashley built in a buffer of time between the ceremony and reception, which is a great plan if you want to be able to knock out all of the pictures and be able to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests. It also gives everyone time to check in to the hotel for the evening. After everyone gave their greetings to the new couple, the official reception began. Ashley’s twin sister and Chris’s brothers had the room in tears (of laughter) with their toasts, and a short time later, everyone was on the dancefloor partying the night away.
This wedding was so much fun to be a part of. Chris and Ashley, we wish you the best and hope to cross paths with you again in the future.
