Ian and Julie’s Arts Ballroom wedding last weekend was so much fun. Ian and Julie pulled out all of the stops to make this day one to remember. Ian even had an airplane fly a special message over the church for Julie after their ceremony finished- But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Kate and I started the day with Julie and her ladies at the Cambria Hotel downtown, and Ashley met up with Ian and the guys at their place. It was a relaxed morning getting ready, which is thanks to the impeccable planning they did to make sure the day went off without a hitch. Once everyone was looking their finest, we headed over to the church in Bryn Mawr. Ian and Julie wanted to grab a few shots of the two of them without actually seeing each other, so we set that up on the backside of church where no guests were. This was a beautiful moment and a fun way to interact together and build up the anticipation. Not long after that, the church doors opened wide as Julie and her dad walked the aisle to start the ceremony. It was a lovely service with some of Julie’s Indian traditions tied in. After they tied the knot and their grand exit, the airplane I mentioned earlier made a few rounds to the amazement of all watchers. At this point, the guests jumped on the buses to head to the Arts Ballroom and the wedding party and family had some pictures done. A short time later, everyone was at the venue enjoying cocktail hour and having a great time. The official reception started a bit later and Verona had everyone on their feet partying for the rest of the night. Ian and Julie joined us on Broad Street for a few classic shots to end the night. This day flew by and it was an absolute joy being a part of it. Ian and Julie, we wish you the absolute best!
