Friday afternoon, Christelle and I tossed the kids in the car and headed toward Boston for Richard and Emily’s Cape Club wedding. We arrived at Christelle’s brother’s place, got some sleep and then headed out Saturday morning (sans kids of course) for the big day. I’ve been looking forward to Emily and Richard’s wedding ever since we met up in Philadelphia last Fall for their engagement session. These two are incredibly kind, fun, and are obviously in love with each other. Being a part of their day was such a joy. Christelle and I joined Emily and the ladies while their hair and makeup was being done. Starting at this point in the day is the best because it allows us to get shots of everyone in a more relaxed environment and see people’s personalities come to life. After a while, I jumped over to Richard’s room for a few prep shots also. Once everyone was looking their finest, we headed over to the Cape Club for the ceremony. Once all the guests took their seats, Richard and Emily made it official. Shortly thereafter, we did all of the family and bridal party pictures which the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. We made a nice lap around the golf course to get some bride and groom shots. What a beautiful venue! The real party started as soon as we got back and everyone had a blast celebrating with the newlyweds. The night was filled with good food, dancing, fire pits on the patio and so much more. The day flies by every time, but I am so glad Emily and Richard have these images to remember the day over and over again!
It was such an honor to be a part of your day Richard and Emily! I hope you have a great honeymoon in Hawaii and enjoy these images as much as I do!
