The first time I met Jamison and Camille was actually on their wedding day. This is rare. I had talked with Camille several times on the phone leading up to the wedding, but because of the distance between our studio and where they live, it just wasn’t practical. None of that mattered though, because from the moment I introduced myself, until the wedding celebration was over, I connected with both of them and felt I had known them for quite some time. It was a true honor being a part of this wedding day. So onto the specifics. Something else that is rare- Midweek weddings… With several hundred guests! Jamison’s father is a Pastor, so it was only fitting that they get married at his church in Watsontown, Pa. I met up with Camille and her ladies as they were finishing up prep and then went a few rooms over to connect with the guys. Everyone was relaxed, friendly, and excited for the day. Jamison and Camille didn’t want to see each other before the wedding, but we managed to get them in a picture together despite that. A few minutes later the ceremony got underway on the back lawn. The sun was starting to set and it was a perfect scene for the nuptials. After their beautiful ceremony, we knocked out family and bridal party pictures. One of the perks of being a pastor’s kid is that you can take some liberties with where you take pictures at the church. For Jamison and Camille, this meant a little trip to the rooftop. We climbed out a window on the second floor and made our way to the peak. Not every couple would be up for this type of adventure, but I am so glad these two were! Not long after that, we wrapped up and the newlyweds joined their guests for a punch reception inside. They mixed and mingled with their guests for the next couple hours before joining me outside for a few final shots.
