John and Sandi’s wedding day started like most others but what happened next will leave you speechless. Did I do that right? Did I suck you in to this post? We’ll get to that in a second, but for now, I’ll walk you through their fantastic wedding. I dropped Kate off with the guys at the Loews Hotel and then swung over to their home a few blocks away. The prep part of the day is always great to capture because on top of detail shots and many of the official happenings, everyone gets comfortable with having us around which loosens them up for the rest of the day. Once everyone was dressed and looking their finest, it was off to the church to seal the deal and make it official. John and Sandi had a beautiful ceremony followed by some family pictures. We then jumped over to one of my favorite spots in Old City and Rittenhouse Square for some bridal party images and shots of the newlyweds. It was an absolutely beautiful day to be shooting downtown. After we made the rounds, it was then over to the Cescaphe Ballroom for cocktail hour and to get ready for the big celebration. Cescaphe always pulls out all of the stops, which is sure to impress everyone in attendance. Jeff, from Rhythmix Entertainment, kicked off the party and it didn’t stop for the rest of the night. The night was moving along like many other weddings do- But then the doors burst open, and to the excitement of all around, out jumps the Phanatic. He immediately upped the level of excitement and SPH (selfies per hour). John and Sandi had an amazing day surrounded by their favorite people (and mascot)
It was an absolute pleasure being a part of their day and we wish them the best. Check out some of our favorite images below.
