Christelle and I jumped on the turnpike early Saturday morning a couple weeks ago, and then hopped onto the beautiful Rt 322 en route to State College. Joe and Amanda were getting married and we were thrilled to be a part of their day. I love shooting in and around State College, and when the weather is perfect, the venue beautiful, and the couple warm and engaging, it makes for a great day. We met up with Amanda and her ladies at the salon and then went back to her parents house for the rest of prep. Not too long after that, we transitioned to the church to get ready for the ceremony. I connect with Joe and the guys once they got there and his anticipation was evident. They had a beautiful ceremony followed by some family pictures in the church. We had a nice chunk of time so we went over to the Penn State Arboretum for some bridal party shots. We took Joe and Amanda out later in the evening for the bulk of their bride and groom shots. Once we wrapped up, it was time to join the guests at the reception for cocktail hour. The celebration took place at the Centre Hills Country Club, which is one of the great reception locations in the area. Joe and Amanda had a fantastic evening surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was an absolute joy being a part of this wedding. Enjoy a handful of our favorite images from the day.
