Back in October, we photographed Justin and Deena’s wedding at The Farm at Eagles Ridge, which is a beautiful venue in Lancaster County. We love being able to regularly shoot in two amazing wedding markets; Philadelphia and central Pennsylvania. Both areas have amazing local vendors that go above and beyond to make the weddings top notch. That was the case for Justin and Deena’s big day. They started off by picking a great location, and then had Planned Perfection coordinating the day, Petals with Style on florals, Jimmy Duffy Catering, The Couture Cakery, and The Midnight Hour band keeping the party going all night. This day flew by and before we knew it, we were packing up our gear and heading home. Christelle and I joined Deena and her bridesmaids in the farmhouse for hair and makeup in the morning and day unfolded like most others. Once everyone was ready, and we had a break in the light rain, Justin and Deena had their first look in front of the farmhouse followed by bridal party and family pictures around the property. When we wrapped that up, we took the two of them around a bit more for some bride and groom shots. The ceremony was scheduled to be outside, but because of the ensuing rain in the forecast, they opted to move it inside. I cannot think of many venues that have such a great backup plan for the ceremony- The barn is a beautiful location rain or shine. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Justin and Deena joined their guests for some light fare and cocktails. It was then time for the real party to start, so everyone made their way back into the barn. They kicked off the reception with their first dance and the rest is history. Everyone had an amazing time eating, drinking, dancing, doing the limbo, and sitting out at the fire. This day was a complete joy to be a part of and I hope you enjoy the images as much as we do!
