If you follow our work at all, you already know how much we love shooting weddings at the Inn at Leola Village. If you didn’t know- you do now. I love the textures, colors, and atmosphere there- it really lends to the way we shoot and how we approach the day. Pair that with having awesome couples, like Lijing and Russell, and you cannot take a bad picture. Kate and I started the day with the ladies in the onsite bridal suite and then joined up with the guys not long after that. On their wedding day, there were showers on and off, so we opted to have their first look inside. Lijing and Russell wanted to knock out as many of the family and bridal party formals as we could before the ceremony so we did a few inside and finished up outside. As soon as their lovely ceremony ended, they joined their guests for cocktail hour, while the house staff transformed the ceremony site into a perfect reception area. The party started not long after that. This wedding was top notch start to finish and was a joy to be a part of. At the end of the night, we took the newlyweds out for one of our signature night shots.
