We have always said that having an engagement session is the single most important thing you can do to prep for your wedding pictures. So much of what makes great wedding pictures is the couple knowing what to expect and how to interact with each other. Most of the couples featured in our “Best Wedding Images of 2015” blog post had us do engagement pictures for them. There are a lot of other factors that going into great wedding images, and obviously it doesn’t spell doom if you are unable to have an engagement session, but if you are able to, don’t put it off. This past year, we did about 30 engagement sessions; some for couples who were getting married in as little as a few weeks, and others as far away as 2017. They were all a blast, and it was fun going back through them this morning and selecting my favorites. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do!
