McLoone’s Pier House Wedding | New Jersey Beach Photographer

Weddings

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. A large majority of wedding photography companies are small businesses; often 1 to 5 people. Over time, we build relationships with other wedding photographers, become friends, and help each other’s businesses grow. We share ideas, strategies, advice and more. When we get an inquiry for a date we are already booked, we like to refer the newly engaged couple to another quality photographer. It can help prevent people from mistakenly booking an ill equipped photographer. There is nothing worse than terrible wedding photography… right? Good friends of ours were booked for Justin and Kristen’s wedding date, so they sent them in our direction. We were very glad they did! I’ll get back to their day in a second. We wound up getting 5 or 6 more inquiries for the same date, and were able to send them to other awesome photographers- I like to think of it as willful communism. Moral of the story: when you contact a quality wedding vendor and they are already booked, they will be able to hook you up with a few companies to get in touch with. I’m not entirely sure why I shared that, but I digress. Back to Justin and Kristen’s beautiful wedding

I am sure that when Kristen and Justin were planning their McLoone’s Pier House Wedding, they were crossing their fingers for no rain. Well, it rained. It was a good thing though. They were able to have their ceremony inside, and when the rained stopped, we went out to the uncrowded beach for some bridal party shots. The sky provided us with some awesome contrast and that couldn’t have happened without the rain. Before all of that though, they got ready at a local hotel and then headed over to a park for their first look. It started pouring as minutes after they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. We headed over to McLoone’s to get ready for the ceremony. After their ceremony and bridal party shots, it was time to celebrate. Kristen and Justin had a blast with their closest friends and family. We snuck out under the pier later on for some night shots.

Justin and Kristen, thanks for having us be a part of your big day. We wish you the best!
