This Summer weather has been absolutely perfect. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Winter and will take snow any day of the week, but this time of year, Ill take a high of 78 degrees. Its perfect weather for doing an engagement sessions. That is exactly what happened the other week when I met up with Tim and Sheila in Philadelphia to do their engagement pictures. We met up in Old City and found some old roads and alleys that are perfect for pictures. We planned the session for the perfect time of day when the sun is getting ready to set so that we could get some dramatic color and contrast. You can’t plan everything perfectly all the time, but when you have the ability to control certain aspects of a shoot, it stacks the odds in your favor. So for this session, we had the right time of day, the right setting, and as you’re about to see, the right couple. Tim and Sheila were absolutely a breeze to work with. The have the perfect amount of natural chemistry that makes it impossible to take a bad picture. We had a blast walking around Old City and then headed over to Penn’s Landing for a couple shots. We got to know each other a bit, and realized we share an affinity for binge watching our favorite AMC tv series. We both have very active schedules, so when we get a free night to watch a little TV, it turns into 4-5 episodes. Don’t Judge. I am very excited for their wedding at the Lambertville Inn. Keep your eyes peeled for it next year!
