Quakertown Engagement Session | Jason and Jen

Engagement Session

Jason and Jen met me in Quakertown at Lake Nockamixon a couple of weeks ago for their engagement session. We were going to meet at the main parking lot, but upon arrival, the road was temporarily blocked off for a triathlon. Of course we happened to be coming from separate directions, so once we found a place to meet, we knew it was for the better. The location we found had a nice wooded area, grassy knoll, and boat launch dock. We made good use of all of the spots and got some shots with their dog kahleesi. After we were done there, we headed around to the other side of the lake to the dam. I passed it on the way to the first location and knew I wanted to take them back there. Once we were there, we realized they had  a fence around it to keep people away. So like anyone would, we tried another way around and finally found a hole in the fence… Only to find a 20 foot drop into the water below. Needless to say, we failed, but still found some good spots in the area. Next time I’ll bring a rope. Jen and Jason are getting married next year at Ironstone Ranch, so keep an eye out for them then.
