Why Moonstone Manor is a Top Wedding Venue in Central PA: Moonstone Manor is one of the venues I started shooting at over 17 years ago and have enjoyed going back to ever single time. They're committed to excellence and are always improving their services to engaged couples. Several years ago, they built a beautiful covered pavilion for ceremonies in rainy weather. Of course, if the weather is nice, there are several excellent outdoor ceremony spots too. Moonstone Manor has a really nice outdoor tented space for receptions, which are catered in-house by Food For Thought Catering. Moonstone Manor has stunning grounds that induce a beautiful creek, rustic stone ruins, an open field, and the main estate house as well. There's never a shortage of amazing locations throughout the property for photos.

What Makes Moonstone Manor Special
The grounds at Moonstone Manor offer a ton of variety. There are open fields, a beautiful creek that has the most amazing lighting at the right time of day, rustic ruins that are unique, wooded areas and then the mansion itself. There's always a beautiful background for stunning pictures. I've shot here many times and have never run into a scenario that was difficult to photograph

There are multiple outdoor ceremony spots depending on the aesthetic you're looking for. You can have a small ceremony down by the ruins, below the mansion, or in the covered pavilion. I love working at venues that give their couples options.
Moonstone Manor allows couples to get ready in the mansion and it's oozing with character and charm. I love shooting in the suites and over the years, it's been awesome seeing how they've modified the spaces to make them more modern and accommodating for couples. No need to Worry about missing a moment
I know that every time my wife or I feel stressed out, it’s a great idea to just stop, relax and take stock. This is never more true than when planning a wedding. My advice (having worked in the industry for many years and planned my own wedding) is to take some time to get your wedding priorities straight. What is important to you may not be as important to someone else. Figure out what you care most about and then go from there. For most of our couples, that means finding the perfect venue then finding the right photographer to capture it all.

How long have you been shooting weddings?
We have been shooting weddings since 2007 and have hundreds of them under our belt. We’ve worked at Moonstone Manor over a dozen times along with countless other venues in Lancaster and Philadelphia, in every season, weather, lighting, and size. We've seen it all!
Can I give you a list of shots that I want on my wedding day?
You can. However, we've found that it is best to just share images with us that are non-standard, or ones we wouldn't have known about had you not told us. Don't worry, we'll be sure to capture family pictures, your first kiss, and all of the "normal" stuff. Leading up to the wedding, we'll send you a questionnaire to fill out and then jump on a call with you to go over all of the important details.
Do you bring back-up equipment to every shoot?
We do. We have extra batteries, memory cards, lenses, and cameras. We're never going to be careless on someone's wedding day!
Do you travel?
We love to travel and experience new places. If your wedding is within 100 miles (round trip) of our studio, there are no extra fees. If it is further away, we'd be happy to give you a custom quote to cover nominal travel expenses. There are no travel fees for Moonstone Manor Weddings
Are the images we see edited?
All of the final images we post (usually between 850-1250) are color-corrected, cropped, and ready for printing. If you like the work you see on our website, you'll love your own images! Editing styles/filters come and go over time, but one of the consistent things we hear from our couples is that they love our timeless style while remaining vibrant, bold and authentic!
