A Stunning Summer Wedding at The Farm at Eagles Ridge

As a wedding photographer with 17 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of shooting at many venues over the years. Some, unfortunately, come and go, but others—like The Farm at Eagles Ridge—continue to improve with time. I recently had the pleasure of returning to this stunning Lancaster, PA, venue for Kevin and Brittany’s summer wedding, and it was an unforgettable experience.

An Ever-Improving Venue

When I arrived for Kevin and Brittany’s wedding, I realized it had been a few years since my last visit to The Farm at Eagles Ridge. I was thrilled to see that, not only had the venue maintained its exceptional attention to detail, but they had also made some incredible improvements. They now have an amazing in-house coordinator, and the beautiful Carriage House renovation (featured in the first image) was a wonderful surprise. The entire day was executed with purpose and care, which made capturing this wedding a dream.

Why Kevin & Brittany’s Wedding is a Top 10 for Me

I delivered Kevin and Brittany’s wedding photos recently, and I told them what I’m telling you now: this wedding easily ranks in my top 10 of all time. It wasn’t just the beautiful venue or the talented vendor team (which I’ll shout out later) that made the day special—it was the couple themselves. From start to finish, Kevin and Brittany were trusting, relaxed, and ready for any shot I had in mind. That kind of freedom allowed me to be as creative as possible, and it showed in the results.

Wedding Day Highlights

The day started with the usual preparations—hair and makeup for the ladies, while my second shooter, Adam, captured the guys getting ready. Once everyone was set, we headed to a church in downtown Lancaster for the ceremony. Kevin’s face when he saw Brittany walking down the aisle was priceless. After their heartfelt ceremony, we snapped a few family photos before returning to The Farm at Eagles Ridge for couple’s portraits.

Kevin and Brittany had already done an engagement session with Nathan Desch Photography, which gave us a great advantage. They knew exactly what they wanted from their portraits, and we were able to focus on creating images that they truly loved. Meanwhile, their guests were enjoying a delicious cocktail hour, courtesy of Serock Catering.

An Unforgettable Reception

The evening reception took place in the barn, and the transformation was incredible. Petals With Style created stunning floral arrangements, complete with a show-stopping chandelier. 3 West Productions kept the dance floor packed all night, and before we knew it, the evening came to an end with a magical sparkler exit.

It’s weddings like this that remind me why I love what I do. The combination of a beautiful venue, amazing vendors, and a couple who trusts me completely is something truly special.
