Most of our engagement sessions are within a two hour radius of the studio. From time to time though, I get to just I’m the truck and go for a ride. That was the case for Matt and Rachel’s Washington DC engagement session last week. Matt and Rachel live in an awesome area sandwiched between the Anacostia River and The Nationals Ballpark. It had me thinking for a minute that if Christelle and I were kidless, not wannabe farmers, and needed to migrate to the city, this is kinda how I’d imagine it. We started the session with Reese (their dog) hanging out with us and then he went back to the apartment for a nap. It was up and down the river, adjoining streets, and to and fro from there. We had a blast getting to know each other a bit more and talking about their wedding that is later this year. It’s going to be a blast. For now, check out a handful of my favorite images.
