Chris and Dani’s wedding was our first time back at The Farm at Eagles Ridge in about a year. I forgot how much I love shooting there. The rolling hills, waterside ceremony, beautiful farmhouse and awesome barn… It’s the creme de la creme barn venue in the Lancaster area. Absolutely check it out if you’re looking for the rustic barn feel for your big day. I met up with Dani and Chris earlier this Summer for their engagement session at Lake Nockamixon. It was one of those days where nasty clouds rolled in and made things interesting. I love shooting in rough weather because I feel it adds a layer of drama to the images. “Nice” weather is good too, and that is exactly what we got for Dani and Chris’s day. We met up with the ladies in the farmhouse and hung out with them while they were getting hair and makeup done. The guys showed up a little while later and hung out for a bit before getting ready. We knocked out a bunch of bridal party shots after their first look so that they would be able to enjoy their cocktail hour. They had a beautiful ceremony down by the pond, and then mixed and mingled with their guests to begin the celebration. The JDK Group provided the fare for the evening. They always do a fantastic job at making everything perfect for their couples. They set the scene around an antique truck provided by Quiet to Riot Customs. Elizabeth Kate Events kept the day flowing, and Ryan Miller Entertainment rocked the night as he always does! We stole Chris and Dani away during sunset for some shots outside. Start to finish, this wedding was top notch, and was so much fun being a part of.
Chris and Dani, we wish you the best! Congratulation again.
