When you think of a beachfront wedding, you probably think of sunny skies, 90 degree air, a beautiful venue, and a great party. CJ and Lauren’s Icona Avalon wedding had all of that minus 50 degrees. It was absolutely fantastic start to finish! Kate and I joined Lauren and the ladies in the bridal suite on a brisk November morning and hung out with them while they were getting ready. A little while later, I joined the guys for some prep in Cj’s suite. The ceremony was held at a church up the street and after they tied the knot, we went outside for some bridal party shots. The four of us then wandered around Avalon for a while getting some couples shots. CJ and Lauren joined cocktail hour with their guests and got to mix and mingle on the outside patio. The party shifted inside for the rest of the reception, but it only got more exciting from that point on. The dance floor was packed for the next three hours and before we knew it, the night was done. CJ and Lauren planned an absolutely perfect wedding and it was great being a part of it.
