Frank and Samantha’s Drumore Estate wedding was nothing less than superb. Between the weather, the beautiful venue and the fun bridal party, it really made for a great day! Kate and I met up in the morning and headed to Drumore, which as you may know is one of our favorite venues.  On our drive there, it started to pour for a bit despite the fact that our weather apps were not calling for rain at all -rude- (If anyone finds one that is reliable, let me know). When we got to the venue there was still a bit of a chill in the air from all of the cloud coverage and wind, but that would soon pass. We met up with the ladies in the bridal sweet and were joined by the hair and makeup artists from Luxe Salon a few minutes later. While the ladies were getting ready, there was a brief discussion about whether or not the ceremony should be moved due to the amount of wind. Thankfully the wind ended up dying down a little and the ceremony was able to stay in the gardens! Drumore recently bricked a path from the mansion to the ceremony site, which makes it all the better. Once both Frank and Sam were ready, we headed outside for their first look in front of the mansion. The sun was now shining and the temperature was perfect! Sam and Frank shared smiles ear to ear for the next few minutes as they had what was likely their only one on one time all day. The guests started to arrive a while later and began to take their seats.  Unfortunately, Sam’s Grandmother got a flat tire on her way to the wedding, so the guests migrated to the carriage house for some cocktails to pass the time. Sometimes life gives you lemons on your wedding day… You know what to do with them. By this point, it was quite warm, so everyone welcomed the refreshments. Not long after, the ceremony began and they officially became husband and wife. After the ceremony Josh from EBE Talent got the party started right away and didn’t stop until the night was done. Frank and Sam even got everyone to join them on the dance floor with their own version of “The World Famous Jack Rabbit Slims Twist Contest” from the movie Pulp Fiction! It was a lively crowd that had tons of fun dancing the night away and we enjoyed photographing every minute of it! Once the sun was setting a bit, we took them out for a few more pictures this time of year makes for absolutely breathtaking golden hour shots. After a few hours of dancing, the newlyweds left the carriage house for a sparkler exit out on the lawn and said goodbye to their guests. The day raced by like they normally do, and just like that, we were on our way back to the studio.
