We have been capturing the love, emotion, and excitement of weddings since 2007. We love what we do because we get to work with amazing people and tell their story through pictures. We love to hear and see their reaction when they see their images for the first time- It keeps us motivated and driven to take our creativity and style to the next level. We pride ourselves on our consistency regardless of season, weather, lighting, and situation. The bottom line is that we want to blow you away with the images you receive from your day. We run from the cookie cut shots like the plague, and hope that you’ll join us!
A little about our team-
-Nathan and Christelle-
Nathan started Nathan Desch Photography back in 2007. He worked another job at the time to pay the bills, but dreamed of going full time someday. Well that day happened, and he often tells people he is now retired because he loves his job so much. He enjoys every facet of being a wedding photographer; from the initial contact to delivering the final product. When he isn’t working, Nathan enjoys gardening, beekeeping, biking, cooking, and spending time with his wife Christelle, and their four kids.
Christelle started shooting weddings with Nathan in the early years and loves taking candid and natural shots the most. While Nathan is taking the lead during the day, you’ll often find Christelle grabbing shots of details, conversations, and what is going on behind the scenes. Several years ago, we decided it was best for our family to have Christelle only shoot a handful of weddings each year, rather than send the kids off to a babysitter every weekend.
Kate joined our team several years ago to help speed up our turnaround time with editing weddings. Since then, she has developed into a quality shooter and regularly shoots weddings with Nathan. Kate, like Christelle, excels at shooting the behind the scenes shots and enjoys grabbing candids throughout the day. Kate is also our in-house album designer, so if you opt to add one to your package, you’ll be working with her at some point. When Kate isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the beach, watching re-runs of One Tree Hill, and all things T-Swift.
Scott came on board in 2015 and has been a fantastic addition from day one. For several years, we were turning down so many weddings because we were already booked for the date. We started looking for an associate that we could send out as a part of the company, but didn’t find anyone that was the right fit. After a couple years, I saw some of Scott’s work and decided to do due diligence and see if he was interested. Well, he was. Scott has a very similar shooting style to Nathan and couples love working with him because he is laid back, creative, and an all around cool dude. Scott is like Batman- during the week, he is a school teacher, but when the weekend comes, he turns into a photographer superhero.
