Several months ago, I was walking out of the house to hang out with some photographer friends and catch dinner. Chang called as I was leaving,  so I quickly headed down to the studio to talk with her about their wedding that was coming up only a few months later. I could tell Chang had done her research and loved our work. A short while later, she signed a contract and we began to plan for the wedding. I was late for dinner that night, but it gave me an opportunity to work with this great couple. Fast forward a bit- We met up at Longwood Gardens for their engagement session and it quickly turned into one of my favorites of all time. You can read more about it in that post, but long story short, the array of weather an lighting we got that evening was unmatched in my memory. Several weeks later, it was their wedding at The University and Whist Club that was on our radar. Kate and I joined Chang and her ladies in the bridal suite that morning and the day began to unfold. A while later, Ben arrived ready to tie the knot. The forecast called for rain all day, so the ceremony was bumped inside, which proved to be no big deal because the staff transformed the room to look fantastic. After the the ceremony, we were able to head outside for some family and bridal party pictures. Ben and Chang were up for any-and-everything to the point that they played under a big oak tree for a few shots. The reception kicked off a few minutes later and everyone had a great time eating, dancing, and congratulating the new couple. It was a great night for sure. Once it was dark and raining a bit, we stole them one more time for some shots outside.
