Engagement Session

When I meet with couples, among many other questions I ask, I ask them how they met. When I first started shooting weddings, the answers varied from college to mutual friends… From at a bar to being on the same softball team. Now, when I ask this question, 90% of the time, it’s college, online, or mutual friends. Scott and Maura went throwback and met at a bar. Scott just happened to be working behind the counter and they hit it off from there. They could have met on Mars for all I care- You know why? Because they are a great pair, make each other laugh, and it’s clear that they really like each other. Here’s some unsolicited marriage advice. You need to really really like each other. You can choose to love someone, but if you don’t like them a lot too, it doesn’t work. Advice over. Back to Scott and Maura. We walked the streets of Philly to the Barnes Foundation, Rodin Museum, Art Museum and the Water Works. What a quintuplet of awesomeness! It was such a pleasure getting to know these two better, talking about the wedding, their careers, and tasty craft beer. Be on the lookout for their wedding later this year! For now, enjoy some of my favorites from their session. Barnes Museum Engagement PicturesBarnes Museum Engagement PicturesWater Works Engagement PicturesBarnes Museum Engagement PicturesBarnes Museum Engagement PicturesWater Works Engagement PicturesBarnes Museum PortraitsArt Museum Engagement PicturesRodin Museum Engagement PicturesBarnes Museum PortraitsRodin Museum Engagement PicturesWater Works Engagement PicturesArt Museum Engagement PicturesBarnes Museum PortraitsWater Works Engagement Pictures
