Joel and Katie got to experience Jekyll and Hyde weather between their engagement session and wedding day. Just a few weeks before their wedding, we were wandering the Daniel Boone Homestead property under an beautiful snowfall, and then just like that, their wedding day was absolutely perfect with sunny skies and mid 70’s temps. Joel and Katie picked the Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens for their wedding and reception. It was our first time there, but I am really hoping it wasn’t our last. It is perfectly laid out and has all of the amenities one could ask for. Kate and I joined Katie and her ladies in the bridal suite to start the day. Joel and the guys got there a little while later and hung out in the groom’s quarters until the ceremony began. Katie shared a nice first look with her dad before the ceremony. They tied the knot in the tobacco barn and then had cocktail hour out on the lawn. Not too long after that, everyone entered into The Grand Barn for dinner. For rest of the night, everyone enjoyed good food, tasty drinks, engaging conversation and a warm breeze out on the patio. Once the sun had gone down, we took the newlyweds out for a few more pictures around the property. It was an absolutely perfect day and we were honored to be a part of it. Enjoy a handful of my favorite images below. If you’re planning a wedding at The Stoltzfus Homestead and are interested in having us be a part of your day, we would love to hear from you.
