Jeff and Carmen are two of the nicest people and are exactly the type we love to work with. They value what we do and gave us the liberty to capture moments throughout the day with ease. Having the trust of our couples helps us to make magic. This was our first US Naval Academy wedding and it didn’t disappoint. We have heard for a while how weddings in the Annapolis area are amazing, but got to experience it for the first time in September. We joined Carmen and her ladies at the Westin for hair and makeup and then jumped over to the guys a few floors away. Having prep happen in the same location gives us more time to float between them and waste less time on travel. Once everyone looked their finest, we headed over to the US Naval Academy Chapel to get ready for the ceremony. After all of the guests were seated, Jeff got to see his bride for the first time. Whether it’s at the ceremony or during a first look, we always love capturing this moment. After they tied the knot, we headed across the street for family and bridal party pictures. Once we wrapped that up, Jeff, Carmen, Christelle, and I walked around the grounds of the Academy for some shots of the two of them. Moments later, they were joining their guests for cocktail hour and we started getting ready for the reception. The Westin hotel is a beautiful hotel in downtown Annapolis, MD, and is the perfect spot for a wedding reception. After intros, Jeff and Carmen shared their first dance and the rest of the reception unfolded after that. Their friends, family, and guests had a great time celebrating with them for the next few hours. After the reception ended, we headed back over to the Academy for a few more shots.
