Kelsey and Nathan’s Drumore Estate wedding was sandwiched between two other weddings for us that weekend. Just like the creme filling of an Oreo, it was oh-so-good. We loved being a part of this wedding and capturing so many great moments throughout the day. The Drumore Estate property is must see if you’re planning a wedding in Central PA. It checks off all of the boxes. We joined the ladies and gents for prep in their respective suites to start out. Getting ready with your closest friends is a seldom talked about point in the day, but I am fairly convinced it is one of the more memorable parts. The calm before the storm if you will. Once Nathan and Kelsey were ready, we set them up in the garden for their first look. After they spent their first few moments together, the bridal party joined us for some shots. They wanted to knock out as many pictures before the ceremony so that they could enjoy cocktail hour with their guests- That’s always a wise move in my opinion. Not long after we finished up, guests started arriving to take their seats. Kelsey and Nathan had a beautiful afternoon ceremony, which was followed by a time to greet everyone with some refreshments afterwards. After a time of mixing and mingling a bit, everyone transitioned to the tent in the courtyard behind the mansion for intros and dinner. Drumore always does an amazing job with their food service. During dinner as the sun was setting, I grabbed the newlyweds for a few minutes to get a few more images with a different look and feel than earlier in the day. A little while later, it rained for a minute or two, which was fun to play around with. Before I knew it, the night was done.
