Tis the season for fantastic weddings every weekend. It’s like Christmas in July… and then again in August, September, and so on. Being a part of weddings like Jorge and Rachel’s is like a gift that keeps on giving. Not just for them and the images that they have to cherish forever, but also for us because we get to do what we love to do week in an week out. Jorge and Rachel had an amazing wedding day at Springton Manor Farm. It was such a joy being a part of their day and working with not only their all-star list of vendors, but also their friends and family. Kate and I joined Rachel at “Aunties” house in the morning and hung out (aka photographing) her and her sisters get ready. Jorge and the guys were getting spruced up at a local barbers, so I jumped over there to get a few also. Everyone headed over to Springton Manor Farm for lunch, followed by the first look not long after that. We were able to knock out some of the bridal party pictures before the ceremony which enabled them to join their cocktail hour and hang out before the start of the real party. J Scott Catering did an amazing job, as always, with the fare for the evening. After all, you can’t celebrate on an empty stomach. Upscale Salsa had everyone moving on the dance floor all night! Right before sunset, we stole the newlyweds away for a few more pictures. The quality of light makes it impossible to take bad pictures that time of day.
