Mikey and Lexie are your All-American couple. They were high school sweet hearts, eloped last year in Lancaster, and then Mikey got stationed in Okinawa, Japan. They decide to have a big wedding to celebrate with their friends, family, and those closest to them in July of this year. Not too long before the wedding Lexie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who’s ear to ear smile stole the show.  Their (second) big day finally came, and they met at Moonstone Manor to tie the knot; again.

Christelle and I met up with Lexie and her bridesmaids in the morning for the tail end of hair and makeup. We had the perfect amount of time to knock out some detail shots before the day really ramped up, so we made full use of the time. Once we were finished, it was time for Lexie to slip into her dress and get ready to walk down the aisle. Mikey and Lexie had a beautiful ceremony  in the field followed by a handful of family and bridal party shots. Once they were completed, we took the two them around the property for some couples shots. Lighting was absolutely beautiful down by the ruins! After we finished, they joined their guests for the tail end of cocktail hour. DJ Freez got the party started and Mikey and Lexie celebrated with their friends and family for the rest of the evening. It was a perfect day!

The day after the wedding was a lot harder for Mikey and Lexie though, as he had to go back to Okinawa to continue his deployment. Keep this family in your thoughts and prayers until Mikey is able to come home again to his family next Spring. We want to thank Mikey, Lexie, their family, and all other service members and families for the sacrifice they make to keep us safe. You doing what you do, allows us to do what we do. Thank you.
