Branden and Mariel had to roll with the punches a bit on their wedding day. Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful wedding start to finish, but at times, it was a category 12 hurricane outside. Well, maybe that is exaggerating. Mariel called an audible and the ceremony was moved from outside to under the tent. Let’s back up a bit though. We met up with the ladies at Luxe Salon in Lancaster. This place is awesome and is probably one of our favorite spots for hair and makeup in the area. We then headed over to Moonstone Manor for the finishing touches. After their first look, we attempted to take everyone outside for some bridal party pictures. As soon as we stepped out, it was a cat 12 hurricane; wind howling, buckets pouring, the whole nine yards. After a couple shots, we got them back under the porch to stay dry. It poured on and off until the ceremony. The rain didn’t phase Mariel and Branden one bit; they were just excited to marry their best friend. After the nuptials, JDK Catering provided a fantastic spread for their friends and family. They always do a top notch job. Everyone had a great time partying and celebrating the new couple.
