I had Jeremy and Ashley’s wedding circled on the calendar for about a year. Don’t get me wrong, I get amped for each and every wedding, so let me set the table. It was a stormy May 22nd, 2014 afternoon; golf ball sized hail being launched from the heavens, windows smashed, cars totalled. It was nuts. We almost called off their engagement session because of the weather and ensuing traffic, but we didn’t. I am glad we didn’t. The skies opened up, and it turned into an absolutely gorgeous evening. You can check that session out here. So after working with these two for their engagement session, I was very excited to work with them again. So onto their wedding- We met up with the ladies at Ashley’s parent’s house in Lancaster and then headed over to the church for the ceremony. Jeremy and Ashley have a favorite hangout spot in downtown Lancaster, so we headed there with the bridal party for some shots after that. It was then onto The Country Barn for their reception. The Uptown Band blew everyone away all night long. Let me make a confession, I don’t really like live music- It’s just not my thing, but The Uptown Band gave me a change of heart; they were simply that good! Everyone had an amazing time celebrating the nuptials.
